今天的背景：
英語中有句諺語：“模仿是最真誠的恭維”(Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)。科學(xué)家的研究表示，模仿的重要性不僅如此，還可能是人之所以為人的根源。嬰幼兒時期，人們就開始模仿周遭的人，學(xué)人吐舌頭，把耳朵靠近電話聽筒，向給自己打招呼的手揮手。等我們成年后，遇到心儀的人會不自主地模仿對方的身體語言，和朋友買一樣的紅鞋子，網(wǎng)購明星同款。也許很多人不愿意承認(rèn)自己是模仿者，然而科學(xué)研究表明只有人類才能建立高度組織化的社會文明正是源于模仿。獲得知識有兩種基本途徑，一種是嘗試—犯錯—嘗試，這種方法無疑是最直接、最有開創(chuàng)性、也最受尊敬的，但它效率極低;另一種就是模仿，模仿使得人類得以快速地掌握復(fù)雜的語言和社會文化，相當(dāng)于“抄了小道”。人類不僅有意識地模仿具有直接功能目的的舉動，還會無意識地模仿那些看起來多余且無稽的言行。
